Fresh Basil leaves chopped (to taste)
1/3 cup of extra-virgin olive oil
Pinch crushed red pepper
Pinch of paprika
Pinch of Kosher salt

Heat the olive oil in a saucepan. When hot, add garlic, a pinch of paprika and the crushed red pepper. Add the chopped onion and sauté the onions until they are translucent. Finally…
Add the plum tomatoes (after crushing them by hand) and allow the sauce to simmer for approximately 10 -15 minutes. Add salt, chopped basil and extra virgin olive oil to taste.
